This is actually quite funny since you would have been more likely to see me in a dress than to write a book report on my own initiative. In fact, in high school we were suppose to keep a journal and mine usually looked something like this:

I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what to write.

So I guess you could say that alot of things have changed since high school, sadly, alot of things haven’t

Half Life/Die Already half-life1

How I died and lived to tell about it

by Mark Steele

Mark believed that we all have a half-life, a point in our life when we have finally figured this life out. As you read through this book you are taken on Mark’s journey to discover that “the milestone of  truly living begins with death”. Tragedy after tragedy the author puts a comedic spin on a period of his life that would have crushed most people. The book is written as though it were poured into a funnel. Story after story comes together the deeper into the pages you get. The anticipation builds to the point you don’t think anything could get worse for this guy. Then it happens. Your half-life is the moment that you stop worrying about yourself and give yourself up to what God had planned all along. Though the beginning of the book is hard to get into, what makes it hard early is what makes it a great read later.
